Po-Art by Puddick

i was wandering round the boards one day,
i'd nothing better to do,
when a strange sight appeared before me,
loudly yelling "yoohoo!"
a fluffy grey cat with big blue eyes,
wearing pink manolos and suspenders,
"this looks interesting" i thought,
and there's nowt on t.v. but eastenders.
"come into my gallery" she giggled,
"it's a rubbish masterclass",
i went right up to the window,
pressed my nose against the glass,
a new world opened up before me,
as into the gallery i gazed,
trembling with excitement i entered,
prepared to be stunned and amazed.
my eyes opened wide in wonder,
at the things i saw in there,
a chunky-chocky was working away,
(she'd purple feathers in her hair)
a magical wizard in fishnets,
tries to say he's no good in class,
then comes up with a superb masterpiece,
brilliantly titled "a fierce cat's arse!"
i saw a ferret whizz by,
clutching a sweet little babby,
'twas dear old albi dashing about,
her work being destroyed by abbi.
wee oranges, kitties and sprinkles,
joined in, and all played their part,
little versions of all of the regulars,
submitted some wonderful art.
kyella rushed backwards and forwards,
busy doing her stuff,
(not sure if she's coming or going,)
keeping up with her makes us all puff.
two doughnuts toiled in the corner,
splashing paint all over the place,
kazzi and dazzi, our sweethearts,
they fair put a smile on your face,
dazzi's a baker, we keep in with him,
cos making our buns takes him ages,
kazzi's thread-watcher keeping us bumped,
making sure we don't slip down the pages.
piglet achieved an amazing feat,
i've not seen before - ever!
haycorn-munching, and painting away,
she proceeded to make henry look clever.
we've had guest artistes, now and again,
what kitty would call "passing trade,"
they drew good pics and were great company,
what a fine contribution they made.
rel's always up late, chatting away,
breathing fire over would-be lurkers,
guarding the threads, as we lie in our beds,
making it safe for the early-shift workers.
border's pics relly are good,
i especially liked the eggs,
( i had to write that last bit in,
or she'd get ollie to bite my legs!)
that dog has murderous instincts,
he should be kept in a pen,
we saw him one night on the telly,
'twas him wot killed dirty den!
let's not forget border's hard work,
with all that wonderful blogging,
also, great pics and animation from
angusthongsandfullfrontalsnogging!
i bet you thought i'd never work that in,
i'll admit, it took me a while
but in the end it was worth it,
cos her name always made me smile.
splashy mcdolph, what can i say?
i should have mentioned you sooner,
you really are gifted, keeping spirits uplifted,
and all for a wee tin of tuna.
i saw you once, with your flirty-flukes on,
that night we all acted the goat,
remember that infamous party,
when we all sploshed around in the moat!
orange started out as simple,
but morphed along the way,
into something really quite clever,
her art was improving each day.
the "puddick and orange show" appeared,
we laughed 'til we were in tears,
the things that citrus did to us,
she shoulda been locked up for years!
every tuesday we gathered, our homework all done,
nervously we handed it in,
madame just smiled - never said it was bad,
cos she'd already been at the gin!
we've giggled and gossiped, had a wonderful time,
(though some of the sights were not pretty)
who'd ever have thought, the idea could have come,
from a lambrini-swilling kitty!
your leaving the gallery makes me feel sad,
it truly brings tears to my eyes,
because of the fact, it's all down to you,
that i've met these wonderful guys.
for dear madame - who started it all,
show-casing this motley crew,
entertaining us all with your antics,
i tip my beret to you.

so raise your glass - a large one please,
don't laugh at me when i post this,
to the inimitable madame kitty,
a truly wonderful hostess! xxx

Did Madame Kitty really leave?!?

Was this all just a publicity stunt to 'up' rhe media profile for Madame Kitty's Gallery and her Babes?! Readers can judge for themselves. Just a week after withdrawing from public life, Madame Kitty returned to the Gallery. Is the Brad Pitt thing still on? We can only guess...the paparazzi photos are inconclusive and we have therefore not published them. However, as we had reserved the space, we have gone ahead and published the heartfelt farewell tributes to Kitty alongside the 'welcome back' artfrom the resident artistes!

The Wizard of Oz - Madame Kitty's Version

When Kittythy touched down in the land of Oz (she couldn't remember how she got there but copious amounts of Lambrini and a spinning house was involved), she accidently killed the wicked witch of the West.
"Oops! Oh well, s**t happens!" she thought and went outside.
{You'll have to imagine all this, as I'm to lazy to draw it! ARF!}
A bewdiful stranger appeared in a bubble.
"This always happens when I have a hangover!" she thought.

"Ignore the attention seeking munchkin and check out my gawjuss dress!" the stranger began.

"My name is Glindferret the Good and I am here to help you, Kittythy."
"Now...put on those fetching red manolos and get yerself off to see the Wizard. Just follow the Yellow Brick Road-it will take you to the place you love best!"
"Cor blimey, guv'nor!" said Kittythy and skipped off merrily with Olitototo and a packet of Nurofen for her poor, hurty, hungover head.

{Blah, blah, blah...journey...lion...scarecrow...tin man...imagine all of that. Gets to the Emerald City and...}

SHOCK HORROR!

The Wizard sees the aforementioned red shoes, whacks Kittythy with his spear and ties her up with her hair ribbon. He jets off to Amsterdam to party in his FAB new shoes with other alternative lifestyle type wizards.

'But what happened to poor Olitoto?!?!' I hear you ask...

He lived happily ever after and eventually went back for Kittythy and led her to the Lambrini Distillery at the end of the Yellow Brick Road-the place she loved best.
